ACCOMMODATION : The hotel offers 252 elegantly designed rooms including single, double Ex. suites, Dlx suites, Presidential suites with attached kitchenenette and snug attic rooms. All rooms offer a breathtaking view of the lake and the surrounding mountains. DESCRIPTION : The hotel is literally inside the legendary Dal Lake, a slate grey structure designed to blend with its natural surroundings. It is built on 13 acre compound that's beautifully landscaped to provide guests with a paradise of their own.
CLIMATE : The average summer temperature is 26o Celsius during the day and 18o Celsius during night. (Summer: April to September) SERVICE : The facilities include TVs with cable network, in house laundry and dry cleaning, postal facilities counter and secretarial services. RECREATIONAL FACILITIES : For leisure hours the hotel offers a host of recreational facilities. A modern health club with gymnasium, swimming pool and indoor sports facilities like billiards, table tennis, carom etc. Outdoor leisure facilities include a grass tennis court and Shikara rides from the hotel's private jetty, trekking and sightseeing tours can also be arranged. DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT : The hotel offers a variety of cuisine, Samovar, the coffee shop services Chinese and continental cuisine and Dawatkhana serving Mughlai and Kashmiri food.
